The Bible teaches us in Psalm 119:105, “Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path.” David, whom God described as a man after his own heart, recognized that God’s Word was his light to direct him, in other words, something that he could live by. Also, he mentioned that God’s Word was a light unto his path, something that gave him understanding. God’s truth is a necessity to living Godly.
